“FAIR data seeks to further biomedical research through this lens where everyone has access to it, but the issue and the barrier is that often there's no standard way of analyzing it. There are also barriers with data management, metadata and other reasons that people struggle with analyzing this data that's available to everyone,” he said. “We use cloud computing technology to import this data, to analyze it and find meaningful results.”

INCLUDE DS3 SUMMER WORKSHOP

The INCLUDE Data Coordinating Center (DCC) hosts an two-week, in-person, immersive summer course in data sciences known as the Data Science for Diverse Scholars in Down Syndrome Research (DS3).
Participants will learn the basics of how to generate, identify, and collect high-content multidimensional datasets; their management, analysis, and visualization; as well as the development of key professional skills required for the career advancement.

The Seven Bridges team leads participants in accessing data, and analyzing it using cloud computing via the CAVATICA platform.
